Hi Chad!! I can still remember first time I heard you. Your humor is great! Australia and country music would be very lost without you.

Have enjoyed your music since first hearing it on a neighbor's gramophone in 1954. Were fortunate to meet you at The Goolma Hotel a few years ago. Recently watched Landline's story on your life and was pleased to see you looking so well. Hope to see you again in the future.

Hi Chad I watched your "life story" on ABC one last night and -you made me both laugh and cry ...You are incredible as ever... I had the pleasure of meeting you in person at a country Victoria show years ago and again years later at the Prince Mark Hotel in Doveton Victoria where you put on a fabulous show. Thank you for many - many years of great entertainment. YOU ARE the King of Country as far as i'm concerned.

A one of kind entertainer who can captivate an audience with a story or a joke a facial expression or some of the most original and funny songs ever performed. A country music pioneer who has played all over Australia with fans from grandparents to grand children. A true living legend and national treasure of Australia's entertainment industry and a true gentlemen of Australian country.
